GPU : Ground Power Unit
Ground power unit : 400Hz-115/200Vac and or 28Vdc genset to power supply aircraft when on the ground
400Hz : standard frequency for power supply of most of all commercial aircrafts
400Hz GPU : Ground Power Unit supplying 400Hz-115/200Vac
Aircraft ground power unit : Ground Power Unit for Aircraft (with 400Hz and/or 28Vdc outputs)
Aircraft GPU : Ground Power Unit for Aircraft (with 400Hz and/or 28Vdc outputs)

Air start unit : Equipment to provide compressed pneumatic air at 42Psi pressure into aircraft engine for start up when aircraft auxiliary power unit is out of order.

GSE : Ground Support Equipment
Ground Support Equipment : All possible equipment connected to the aircraft when on the ground
Air conditionning Unit : Equipment to supply conditioned air (hot or cold) inside the aircraft
